Thea Shiansky

I’m Thea Lynn Shiansky, born and raised in Chicago as a first-generation Filipina-American, shaped by the values of hard work, resilience, and compassion instilled by my immigrant parents. Inspired by my mother, a retired nurse devoted to serving both our family and the Filipino community, I pursued a career in nursing to make a meaningful impact.

Earning my Master’s in Nursing Administration from NYU led to a leadership role at Mount Sinai’s Clinical Command Center, where I helped manage system-wide hospital operation during the Covid-19 pandemic. After 15 years in New York City, my husband and I moved to San Diego with our two young daughters for more space and a better quality of life. Now, as a nurse consultant, I focus on improving healthcare systems while balancing life as a mom, wife, and adventurer who enjoys traveling, the beach, and discovering new experiences.
