About

A series about the women you wish lived next door.

Women Rising America is a documentary-style television series. We film in one American city at a time, cast women who live there, and ask them one honest thing: what did you come through, and what did it make of you?

The women answer the way they'd answer a friend — in their kitchens, on their porches, over coffee. And that's the point. We make this show so that when you watch, you think: she would be my best friend. I want to hang out with these women. Because women lift each other up, and television should show it.

Other shows built an industry on women in conflict. We'll leave that to them. Across 6 cities and 40 women, nobody here has been cast as a villain. The women who have shared abuse, addiction, infertility, bankruptcy, and the death of people they loved did it on their own terms, in their own words, and with the final say over how their story was told — so what reaches you is the real woman, and she's worth knowing.

Our promise to every woman we film

Four rules we do not break

  • Your words, not our script

There is no script, no producer feeding lines, and no manufactured conflict. You say what you came to say.

  • No villain edit

We do not cut footage to make a woman look ridiculous, unstable, or cruel. Not for drama, not for a trailer.

  • You choose the hard parts

You decide what stays in. If a chapter of your life isn't ours to broadcast, it doesn't air.

  • The story ends where you are now

Every story lands on what you learned and who you became — because that's the part someone watching needs.
