Anne Carr’s story

From the Australian outback mining town of Broken Hill to the heart of Silicon Valley, Anne’s journey is full of grit, curiosity, and a passion for empowering others. A former National level athlete in multiple sports, and recipient of the prestigious Commonwealth Full Sporting Blue for Volleyball, Anne graduated from Flinders University with a degree in Psychology and Sociology before embarking on a solo, 3 1/2 year backpacking adventure around the world that eventually led her to California.

Today, Anne is a powerhouse of diverse expertise. She is a business owner, public speaker, best selling author, beauty industry leader, a 3rd degree black belt in MMA, and a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. She leverages these skills as the creator of her A.C.E. (Awareness, Confidence, and Empowerment) self defense class that donates 100% of its proceeds to her favorite non-profit charity supporting survivors of CSA and protecting future generations.

Alongside her husband of 32 years, Anne has co-owned Stanford Chiropractic Center for over three decades and co-authored a Goal Setting Workbook to help others reach their full potential. Full of fun, enthusiasm and a desire to empower those who cross her path, Anne is always open to doing something new every day to push herself out of her comfort zone! Despite many professional accolades, Anne believes in "Family First", and being a wife, and mum to her three "SonShines"

and two Golden Retrievers, is her greatest joy and success.
