The short answer is yes

Are there any positive stories about women?

Yes. Women Rising America is an unscripted television series built entirely on them. Instead of gossip and rivalry, it films real women in one American city at a time — survivors, founders, mothers, veterans, widows — describing what they came through, what they learned, and who they became. Forty women are part of the series across St. Louis, Palm Springs, San Diego, the new Midwest season, and the new San Francisco cast, and every story is told in her own words.

These aren't stories about women. They're stories from women you'd want to know — the kind you watch and think, “she would be my best friend.”

Why they are hard to find

Conflict travels faster than healing.

Unscripted television and social feeds both reward the same thing: a raised voice, a turned table, a woman at her worst. It is easy to cut and easy to share, so it is what gets made. A woman explaining how she rebuilt her finances after a divorce takes longer to tell and does not fit in a headline.

What we film instead

The part that actually helps.

Each season is cast locally and filmed in the women's own spaces — kitchens, porches, studios. Nothing is staged and no storyline is invented in the edit, so what you get is the good part: how she left, how she healed, how she started the business, how she carried the loss. Told the way she'd tell you over coffee.
