Dr. Zoe Ramos’s story
Dr. Zoe Ramos is proof that every season of change can become a step toward purpose. Born in Puerto Rico, she learned early how to adapt, rebuild, and find her voice through new places, new cultures, and new beginnings. From Puerto Rico to New Jersey, New York, Miami, Houston, rural Africa, and now California’s East Bay, her life has been shaped by movement, resilience, and the courage to begin again.
Dr. Zoe is an entrepreneur, doctor, wife, mother, and founder of Forward Foot & Ankle Center. Although her work is rooted in podiatry and regenerative medicine, her greater mission is helping people move forward in their lives. She believes healing is not only physical, but deeply connected to confidence, identity, purpose, and the choices we make when life redirects us.
After years of personal and professional transitions, including rebuilding her career in different states and starting over more than once, Dr. Zoe has learned that reinvention is not failure. It is growth. Her journey has given her a wider understanding of people, pain, healing, and the strength it takes to keep walking into the unknown.
Today, she lives in the East Bay with her family, where they enjoy running, hiking, and the outdoors. Through her work, her story, and her presence, Dr. Zoe leads with curiosity, compassion, and conviction. Her message is simple: change does not have to break you. It can become the path that brings you home to yourself.
